King James Version of the Bible

In a world filled with endless versions of the Bible the K.J.V. stands out alone. It is the most accurate Bible available in English language today. The K.J.V. was taken from the majority of the manuscripts available to these men (many of these no longer exist today), unlike the modern counterparts which use the minority of manuscripts which vary widely and are quite unreliable due to all the alterations made to them.

There are many places on the internet that you can download the K.J.V. Bible. We use and recommend these two:

Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible - by James Strong

Showing every word of the text of the Authorised (K.J.V.), and every occurrence of each word in regular order; together with dictionaries of the Hebrew and Greek words, with references to the English words. A must for every earnest Bible student. You will receive a copy of Strong's Exhaustive Concordance when you download the basic E-Sword Bible.

Steps to Christ - by Ellen G. White

The title of this book tells its mission. It points to Jesus as the only one who is able to meet the needs of the soul, and directs the feet of the doubting and the halting to "the pathway of peace." Daniel and the Revelation (about 1911 edition)

The books of Daniel and the Revelation are counterparts of each other. They naturally stand side by side, and should be studied together. This book is a verse by verse study of these two important books of the Bible. It is for the purpose of calling attention to some important prophetic-historical lessons, if we may be permitted to coin a word, that this volume is written. And the books of Daniel and the Revelation are chosen for this purpose, because in some respects their prophecies are more direct than are to be found elsewhere upon the prophetic page, and the fulfilments more striking. The object before us is threefold:

1. To gain an understanding of the wonderful testimony of the books themselves;
2. To acquaint ourselves with some of the more interesting and important events in the history of civilised nations, and mark how accurately the prophecies, some of them depending upon the developments of the then far-distant future, and upon conditions the most minute and complicated, have been fulfilled in these events; and
3. To draw from these things important lessons relative to practical Christian duties, which were not given for past ages merely, but are for the learning and admonition of the world today.
